The UCL report said the process would reduce waste and increase energy density by up to 40 percent compared to conventional LPE manufacturing.

The report said that this process could also reduce carbon emissions.

The new regulation could have a big impact on the electric vehicle industry because it could mean more people will be able to afford electric vehicles and could lead to an increase in sales of electric vehicles as a whole.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced on Wednesday that it has been reviewing the electric-vehicle regulations that will be in place by 2025, in part because the industry has been moving toward hybrid vehicles.

The NHTSA said it is working on the regulations and will report its findings to Congress in the fall.
