Fry’s Electronic Store to open in Brooklyn
New York City’s Fry’s Electronics will open a new store in Brooklyn in the coming weeks.
The new store will be Fry’s third in Brooklyn, and will be located in the area of West 39th Street and Seventh Avenue, the company said in a statement.
Fry’s Electronics was founded in 1996 by a pair of brothers who were raised in suburban Baltimore.
The company has been a fixture in the Brooklyn area for years, serving as a hub for its popular Fry’s Electric brand of electronics, with over 1,300 locations across the country.
The company, which was founded by Eric Fry, started selling electronic devices and software to consumers in the 1980s and has remained one of the most popular electronics retailers in the country ever since.
It has expanded into a range of products including digital cameras, televisions, and toys, as well as online and in stores.
